New Residents
New Residents
Dear New Country Club East Resident(s):
We are delighted to welcome you to our community. Those of us who live or work here take pride in our neighborhoods, the common areas, the amenities and the work we do to maintain them and to make life here enjoyable.
This Welcome package contains information that will help you orient yourself in Country Club East (CCE), learn how to operate within the HOA, and find a wealth of information on the HOA and Lakewood Ranch websites to make the most of your time here.
From this letter, you can find a number of helpful items, including:
- Answers to the most Frequently Asked Questions about life in CCE
- Helpful tips to getting up-to-speed on ways to get around
- Information on “How the HOA Works”
- Frequent contacts - information for organizations and companies operating in and around CCE
- Maps of the community - Interactive, Regional, Park and Trails
- New Resident Kit
There are lots of things you will want to understand in your first few days – such as days of the week for trash and recycling pickup, how the yards in your neighborhood are maintained, what to do with all the boxes you’ve just unpacked and more.
There are three primary groups of people who can help you get settled:
- Castle Group – the CCE property manager (transponders, mail box keys, etc.)
- Your neighborhood elected officers and your neighbors
- Your builder (new homes) or your realtor (existing homes)
The Board of Directors, elected by their fellow residents for two year terms, meets quarterly to conduct the business of the HOA and votes on a budget every fall. These meetings are open to all residents, as are the meetings of the Committees established by the Board to help manage activities (Ponds, Landscaping and others) and advise the Board on various items in their area of responsibility.
We hope your move into the community is a smooth one and that you immediately begin to enjoy life as a member of the Country Club East Community.
Regards,
Country Club East Homeowner’s Association
